Okeechobee County FL Refuge Ranch Help Women Overcome Addiction The Refuge Ranch is a non-profit organization that offers a residential program for women struggling to overcome addiction. A Christ-centered approach to recovery empowers women to embrace the journey and experience personal transformation. Refuge Ranch, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, opened in January 2007 to offer women a safe residential environment to address drug and alcohol addiction from a Christ-centered perspective. The founders, Fred and Melanie Beeson, established The Refuge Ranch on a 120-acre property in rural Martin County with a commitment to support women in their recovery journey. While applying a faith-based perspective to the recovery process, women experience personal transformation and gain the tools necessary to support long-term recovery. As part of The Refuge Ranch mission, women are not denied admission if they are unable to pay the program expense.
